Alright. Classes went well today, but that’s not the major topic of this post.

Today was the Student Involvement Fair, when all of the groups and organizations come out and advertise themselves to the students to try and recruit new members. The LGBTQIA+ group is called “EROS” (in honor of the Greek god(dess?) of love). There were some clearly feminine guys there, one was wearing a cape.

My friends and I get back to the dorm, and after about ten minutes, this really conservative guy comes in and starts making fun of the guy in the cape! He eventually walks away without us saying anything, but we all wish we had. None of us like him at all. We discussed our views on homosexuality and the LGBTQIA+ community in general after he left. That would’ve been a perfect time to tell them I’m gay, but I didn’t. Oh well.

Any thoughts on that experience?

If I changed my first name to John, I would actually be John Watson

I would have no choice but to finish my PhD so I could be Dr. John Watson

Had a fun first day of classes. Today and Thursdays are my easy days in which I have one afternoon class. So, after sleeping in until about 10:00, I went to the dining hall to eat with friends, and then we returned to the dorm and hung out. I left to go to my class, The Heart of Mathematics (which is basically like the math team class). It was really interesting and there are a lot of physics majors in that class! Then my friends and I played Cards Against Humanity and Fluxx, and we went to dinner. After that we meandered around campus for a while, eventually ending up in my RA’s room watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

It’s been a really fun day. Tomorrow I’ve got three classes back to back in the morning starting with Modern China, followed by General Physics I, and ending with Vectors and Matrices. It’s going to be interesting.

"I have two daughters, so I’m raising two future women. Maybe! I mean, one of them might be a guy later. It’s possible. It could happen. Someday one of my daughters could be like ‘Dad, I’m really a guy’ and I’ll be like ‘Alright well let’s get you a dick, honey. We’ll get you the nicest dick in town.’"

Louis CK (reason #94826 why he’s the best comedian)

Somewhere along the way, Louis CK become society’s ideal father and I’m 100% okay with this.

So at the carnival that Furman was hosting tonight, I didn’t want to go on a ride that my friends were going on, so I was a good friend and stood with them in line until it was our turn to get on. I politely got out of line and waited for them, alongside another girl who was doing the same thing.

We started to talk (turns out she’s from Macon), and then my friends got off the ride. They proceeded to tell me how I’m such a ladies man, and how I’ve got moves. Should I tell them I’m gay?

Plus, one of the girls (who’s name is Ryan) keeps on saying how cool of a walk I have. What?????

When people say “it’s not classy for a lady to curse”

.~ Practically perfect in every FUCKING way ~.
